Paris Baguette’s first café in Reno is about to open in a few months; we are looking for several individuals who are eager to develop their skills and ready to join an amazing team as a Cake Decorator and become part of the grand opening core team.
Our Cake Team Members are true masters of their craft. They execute our recipes with precision and care, ensuring every creation delights our guests.
At Paris Baguette, we believe joy is baked and decorated daily. As a Cake Team Member, you’re not just creating cakes; you’re crafting edible celebrations. From elegant piping to whimsical designs, your artistry brings our guest experiences to life. Whether it's a birthday, graduation, or "just because," you make it memorable.
This is a hands-on, creative role where precision meets passion in a bakery café that’s reestablishing the neighborhood bakery as the heart of the community.
As a Caker, you’ll be the creative force behind our most joyful offerings:
•Decorate and assemble cakes, and desserts to recipe and visual brand standards
•Ensure cake displays are organized and visually appealing to enhance the guest experience in a timely and continuous manner
•Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components
•Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet café demand
•Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe decorating station
•Support special orders and guest customization needs when applicable
•Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently
•Monitor equipment and ingredient inventory, notifying supervisors of any issues or shortages
•Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks
•Help train new Cake Team Members in decoration techniques and café procedures
•Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports as required
•Adapt to other bakery tasks as needed (we’re all one team!)
•Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
