QA Inspector
VEKA is hiring a QA Inspector to support quality assurance within our Reno manufacturing operation.
This role is responsible for inspecting extruded products, completing dimensional and quality checks, documenting results, and working closely with production teams to ensure products meet VEKA standards.
Schedule:
Rotating 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Perform dimensional, surface, color, fit, bow, length, and impact testing
- Help determine product accept/reject decisions
- Identify and communicate quality concerns to production teams
- Collect and document quality data and samples
- Support continuous improvement efforts across production and tooling
- Perform required AAMA testing and maintain accurate records
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and computer skills, including Excel/MS Office
- Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions
- Experience with measurement tools such as calipers and profile measurement equipment preferred
Education/Experience:
Associate degree in a Science or Engineering-related field or 3+ years of quality/science-related experience.
