Phased is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing electrical crews and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on electrical experience who can effectively manage crews, coordinate daily work, troubleshoot field issues, and maintain a high standard of safety and workmanship. Experience working in mining, industrial, or similar environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to electricians and electrical crews.
- Plan, coordinate, and assign daily work based on project schedules and priorities.
- Ensure electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance are completed according to applicable codes, plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Monitor project progress and communicate scheduling, material, or operational concerns to management.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and assist crews with complex field issues.
- Conduct and participate in pre-shift safety meetings, FLRAs, and other required safety documentation.
- Enforce company safety policies and site-specific requirements.
- Ensure crews maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Coordinate with customers, project management, other contractors, and site personnel as needed.
- Track employee hours, job progress, materials, and other required project documentation.
- Help train, mentor, and develop electrical employees.
- Maintain accountability for crew performance, quality, productivity, and safety.
Qualifications
- Previous electrical experience required.
- Previous supervisory, foreman, or lead electrician experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, troubleshooting, and electrical safety.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work extended shifts and travel to project locations as required.
- Mining or industrial electrical experience preferred.
- MSHA experience or certification preferred; training may be provided depending on the candidate.
