Automotive Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and HVAC concerns.
- Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and tune-ups.
- Use diagnostic equipment and repair information systems effectively.
- Document findings, recommendations, and completed repairs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and shop procedures.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology and training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties.
