Key Responsibilities:

Assists in laying out drip lines with the D6 Dozer
Makes necessary repairs to all piping (Yelomine or HDPE)
Monitors the offloading of lime
Ability to operate forklift, bobcat skid-steer and backhoe
Assists with and monitors the cyanide driver in offloading liquid cyanide
Knowledgeable in the operation of the A.A. machine
Properly retrieve solution samples and titrate for cyanide content
Skilled in the process to adjust solution flows to the heap
Coordinates piping and flow changes with necessary personnel
Maintains an inventory of pipe and parts and processes reorders as required
Ability to adjust cyanide to the plant and ponds as necessary
Capable of operating the lime addition station and adjusts the addition rate as dictated by the pH
Ability to assist with minor repairs to the plants when necessary
Must know and understand the location of all pregnant and barren ponds, pipping and valves to and from the ponds as well as the Merrill-Crowe and Carbon plants
Capable of starting the zinc feeder and adjusting the flow rate to ensure the plant is operating efficiently with a complete understating of how to check the zinc rate making adjustments as required
Self-starter with an ability to work independently
Follows verbal and written instructions May perform other related duties as assigned

Multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Easily adapts to changing requirements and plans
Ability to work in a high-stress environment
Willingness to assist elsewhere on the mine site when needed such as the crushing crew, leach crew, etc
Valid Driver’s License
