Job Summary
Support the leaching operation in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to all MSHA and company safety regulations, policies and procedures
· Inspect and maintain the leach pad daily including putting new ore under leach, maintaining proper flows and pressures for all areas currently under leach etc.
· Cross-train with the Process plant operators on both the inside and outside positions
· Operate small support equipment, such as skid-loaders, dozers, forklifts, etc.
· Clean filter presses and the E- cells as needed
· Lifting and carrying equipment and materials up to 50 pounds throughout the work day with and without assistance
· Ensure compliance with all MSHA and company policies and procedures
· Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
· Self-motivated and ability to prioritize work and adaptable to changes in schedules, plans, etc.
· Work will be over rough terrain and involves climbing stairways, catwalks and pads
Requirements
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License
Work Conditions
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work outside in all weather extremes
- Willingness to assist elsewhere on the mine site when needed such as the crushing crew and mining crew, etc
- · Personal protective equipment is required when performing this work (safety shoes, hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator, etc as needed)
