We’re looking for a creative, driven Videographer/Storyteller who can help bring local businesses and career opportunities to life through compelling visual content.
Position Overview
The Videographer/Storyteller will create engaging video and social media content that highlights employers, job opportunities, employee stories, and community-focused business features throughout Northern Nevada.
This role is ideal for someone who loves telling authentic stories, filming on location, interviewing people, and creating content that inspires others while helping local companies attract talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and produce high-quality video content featuring local businesses and job opportunities
- Conduct on-camera interviews with business owners, employees, and community leaders
- Capture workplace culture, behind-the-scenes operations, and day-in-the-life content
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns
- Create engaging reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, and promotional content
- Travel throughout Northern Nevada to film at company locations and events
- Collaborate with employers to develop creative concepts and story ideas
- Help grow Northern NV Jobs’ online presence through consistent visual storytelling
- Assist with photography and branded content when needed
- Stay current on social media trends, video formats, and storytelling techniques
Qualifications
- Experience in videography, video editing, content creation, or digital storytelling
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and video trends
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
- Ability to shoot with DSLR, mirrorless, or mobile video equipment
- Strong communication and interviewing skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Creative eye for storytelling, branding, and visual composition
- Must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and traveling locally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating recruitment or employer branding content
- Photography experience
- Drone videography experience (FAA Part 107 preferred)
- Knowledge of Northern Nevada communities and industries
- Experience managing social media accounts
