We are a trusted source for drilling and installation services in California, Nevada and Arizona with certifications recognized by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association. We specialize in a variety of drilling solutions, from mineral exploration to water well recovery and geotechnical engineering. Our team of professionals use cutting-edge dual tube RC technology, wireline core methods and more for obtaining soil and rock samples with precision accuracy.
About the job:
- This is a full-time, permanent position.
- Candidates can be based anywhere in the USA; they will be flown to project sites by the Company.
- Project sites are primarily based in Nevada, Arizona, and California.
- Generally, employees work 20 days on / 10 days off.

Job Responsibilities:
- Drilling Operations
- Set up and align drill rigs and related systems.
- Maintain proper water, power, and drilling fluid connections.
- Sample Extraction and Handling
- Retrieve samples from the drill string with care and precision.
- Ensure documentation and core logs are complete and legible.
- Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and basic mechanical repairs.
- Report major equipment faults immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas.
- Drilling Fluid and System Management
- Mix and maintain appropriate drilling fluids for cooling and lubrication.
- Monitor mud flow rates, viscosity, and cleanliness during operations.
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow site-specific and company-wide Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and participate in daily safety briefings.
- Wear required PPE at all times and ensure helpers follow protocols.
- Team Supervision and Communication
- Supervise and mentor drill helpers or assistants, if applicable.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and project leads.
- Report drilling progress, delays, or safety incidents promptly.
- Site Adaptability
- Perform duties in a variety of field conditions including remote, off-grid, and harsh environments.
- Remain flexible and responsive to varying site conditions and operational requirements.
- Other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 3+ years drilling experience (sonic drilling)
- Valid CDL
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate TSI 150CC sonic rig
- Ability to advance casing and manage overburden formations
- Ability to complete detailed daily reports
- Leadership ability and crew supervision experience
- Ability to comply with Health and Safety Management Systems and procedures
- MSHA certification is required
