Reporting to the Process General Supervisor, the Process Planner will be responsible for comprehensive planning, scheduling, and coordination of operations and project activities within Process Operations. The Process Planner will manage Oracle system operations, coordinate with contractors, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting plant operations and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive job plans and scope work requirements for all Process Department Ops, Pad, Utility and Refinery crews.
- Collaborate with Fixed maintenance and electrical on weekly backlog review/work priority and scheduling meetings
- Maintain and update backlog priority lists for the process department
- Develop and publish weekly a 5-week work plan of fully planned work
- Document and publish planning and scheduling KPI information
- Manage EAM (Oracle) system operations including move orders, purchase requests, work requests, work orders, asset structure, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for process tasks
- Process new item requests and manage procurement of parts and special equipment
- Track inventory and coordinate with kitting specialists
- Develop and maintain standard jobs
- Collaborate with engineering and metallurgy on cell designs
- Coordinate with operations team on leach pad cell designs
- Participate in mine planning discussions regarding pad preparation and dripping operations
- Start to finish projects planning including scoping, charters, AFEs, MOCs, Gantt charts, resourcing, and purchasing
- Participate in crusher scheduling meetings
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to work safe and promote safe behavior in others.
- 5+ years of experience in mining or process plant operations
- Proficiency in Oracle systems and maintenance planning software
- Strong understanding of mining processes and equipment
- Experience with regulatory compliance (MSHA, NDEP, BLM, etc.)
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and planning software
