The Concrete Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all field operations related to concrete construction projects, including foundations, slabs, structural concrete, and site flatwork. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and contract specifications.
The Superintendent supervises field crews and subcontractors, manages daily schedules, monitors quality control, enforces safety compliance, coordinates equipment and material deliveries, and communicates regularly with project managers, inspectors, and clients. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and extensive knowledge of concrete placement, forming systems, finishing techniques, and curing processes.
