CITY OF ELKO, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT:

• Daily operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plant, and all related systems pertaining to plant processes and relevant locations.
• Replacing, rebuilding, changing out centrifugal and positive displacement pumps including progressive cavity, rotating lobe pumps, parts, rotors, stators, ‘wet ends’ etc.
• Changing out low voltage system data interfaces used for the monitoring of DO, pH, ORP, nitrate & chlorine probes and sensors. Also radars used for measuring heights and flow of water incoming, outgoing, and being processed as well as meters used to record the volume of water, sludge, chemicals, and other liquids traveling through the pipes.
• Use and operation of cranes (mobile and stationary) chain-falls, hoists, and ‘come-alongs’ for lifting out and resetting heavy components.
• Operation of equipment including: Skidsteers, Truck Cranes, Hydro-Excavator & Vacc Trucks, Loaders, Back-Hoe
• Cleaning, maintenance, greasing, of all the above as needed or scheduled.


WALSH RECLAMATION, EXPERIENCE AND EQUIPMENT

• Daily operation of Dozers, Graders, and Excavs for purposes of establishing pads for drillers on low-grounds and high and steep hillsides, as well as establishing roads and access to them.
• Reclamation of used (drilled) land, reshaping / restoring ground areas, pads, sumps and roads back to a semblance of their original, natural and undisturbed topography.
• Providing support to drillers by clearing their sumps from overfill using 8-speed ‘Vacc Trucks’.
• Occasional special projects such as creating and maintaining storm-drains and flood canals for mine-site.
• Skilled work required running larger pieces of equipment in very small and limited spaces of land so as not to disturb the immediate natural landscapes and environments directly around the pads we were creating.
• Daily inspection and care of any and all equipment: shoveling and washing out tracks, clearing filters, checking fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc.
• Graders: Cat 120 (lever controls), Komatsu 255 (w/ palm steering & hand controls) Dozers: Cat D6 / Excavs: Cat 320, Komatsu 210 w/ buckets, rippers, & rock-hammers Skidsteers: Cat 299 / 8-Speed Vacc Trucks.


JERRITT CANYON SURFACE OPERATIONS, EXPERIENCE & EQUIPMENT

• Loading ore at ROM into Primary Crush Hopper according to the specified 'blend'.
• Loading hopper at Mine Crush with rock and loading trucks with backfill 'cone' and 'fines' while maintaining piles of crushed materials falling off belts.
• Transferring ore, backfill, and other materials to different sites and locations throughout mine.
• Operation of Graders to maintain haul roads and ore pads etc.
• Operation of Cat Excavator for clearing hoppers, especially during extreme cold when materials tend to freeze-up.
• Daily inspection and care of any and all equipment: shoveling and washing out tracks, clearing filters, checking fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc.

JERRITT CANYON UNDERGROUND OPERATIONS, EXP. & EQUIPMENT

• Operation of Normet powder-truck. Transporting, charging, blasting, signing-out, logging, and recording inventory of all materials loaded onto truck and used that day. Maintaining inventory and filling out blasting reports. Keeping powder truck and powder-mag clean, organized, and ready for use at all times. Sharp communication for the sake of safety of all miners and personal.
• Operation of various haul-trucks for hauling ore out of mine. Taking samples and recording them for reports. Transporting backfill from batch-plant down to headings being jammed in or dropfilled.
• Operation of Normet remix truck included for transporting shotcrete to heading and assisting the spray-mix truck operator. Maintaining steady flow of shotcrete into spray-mix screens and hopper. Setting up utility lines necessary for use on shotcrete equipment.
• Operation of various forklifts & Teledyne scissor-deck for supplying headings, muck-bays or lay-downs with bolts & wires and other mining supplies. Safely transporting materials such as ANFO and other explosive materials down to our powdermag. Operating lift with a 'man-basket' or operating scissor-deck for the installation or repair of utilities, ventbag, Driscol pipe 2" or 4", electric or communication cables etc.
• Installation of utility lines, air, water supply, discharge. Includes experience working with McElroy HDPE pipe fusing.
• Operation of 10-speed water-truck for the purpose of watering the mains underground and around portal, ore-pads, shop, dry, and fueling stations.
• Ran automated batch-plant at SSX and manual batch-pit at Saval. Inspection, maintenance, and daily operations of Batch-plant and equipment. Making shotcrete and backfill. Operating loaders and getting materials onto plant conveyors and haul-trucks or mixed in pit. Operating plant mixers & scales. Operating conveyor belts. Operating 10-speed Volumetrix truck for batch pit.
• Operating Cat D4 Dozers to clean up roads and other areas around plant.
• Some mucking. Some jamming although experience on these was limited. Competent to run equipment and complete necessary tasks.
• Daily inspection and care of any and all equipment: shoveling and washing out tracks, clearing filters, checking fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc.
• Daily reports and maintenance of computer input, data, and spreadsheets for the purpose of keeping track of our production, batch inventory, and environmental accountability with use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

CITY OF ELKO EXPERIENCE:

• Tasks include: Daily operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plant, and all related systems and locations pertaining to plant processes and relevant locations.

• Working with hand tools as well as with many various power tools: Drills, impact guns, disc-cutters, grinders, multi-tools, saws for metal, wood, concrete, presses, drill presses, jack-tampers, McElroy HDPE pipe fusion trimmers & welders,
• Maintenance and replacement (when necessary) of low voltage devices, probes, sensors, interfaces used for the monitoring and recording of DO, pH, ORP, nitrate & chlorine readings, including sonar readers used for measuring heights or flow of incoming & outgoing water, sludge volumes, chemicals, and other liquids traveling through the pipes and filling certain basins throughout plant.
• Use and operation of cranes (mobile service trucks as well as stationary hoits) chain-falls, chain hoists and ‘come-alongs’ for lifting out and resetting heavy components, pumps, motors, etc.
• Cleaning, maintenance, greasing, of all the above as needed or scheduled.
• Plumbing & pipe repair around plant. Includes water blasting / vacc truck excavation as well as experience working with McElroy HDPE pipe fusing & crane operation for heavy sections.
• 8 speed Manual Dump Truck
• Cat 260 Skid Steer, (tires) Bucket for dirt work (filling around new / repaired piping, excavated holes, leveling ground, or loading materials into dump truck) Transporting chemical totes (polymer, FOG chem, Biochem additive) Lifting heavy tools or pumps and moving them to appropriate location.


OTHER WORK SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Security for Jerritt Canyon Mines: Securing site, property, and assets. Remaining present during gold pours. Checking credentials and documentation of those entering or leaving mine site. Filing and other clerical tasks often using Microsoft Word and Excel to validate and record personal and items arriving or leaving site.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Have either improved (with permission) or designed many spreadsheets for many jobs with countless auto-calculation and fill-in functionality.
• Construction: Framing patios. Wiring houses for low-voltage & telecom
