About
With almost two decades of experience in drilling, rock scaling, and underground support work, I bring a strong background in safe, efficient drilling practices in both surface and underground environments.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in drilling and ground support roles, including underground projects for BC Hydro at Mica Dam and W.A.C. Bennett Dam. My experience includes jackleg and stoper drilling, rock bolting, mesh installation, and working in confined underground conditions. I have also performed detailed rock slope safety assessments and understand the importance of ground control, hazard identification, and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
I take pride in operating drilling equipment safely while maintaining a productive pace. Whether working with handheld equipment or larger drills, I focus on precision, consistency, and teamwork to meet production targets without compromising safety. My background as both a driller and scaler has given me a well-rounded understanding of ground conditions and how to adapt quickly to changing site requirements.
In addition to my field experience, I am mechanically inclined, experienced in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and comfortable reading and working from project drawings. I am confident that my hands-on experience, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety would make me a valuable addition to your crew.
I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to your operation and discuss how my experience aligns with your needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
