POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Mobile Maintenance Parts Coordinator is responsible for efficiently and effectively inspecting, measuring, staging, and preparing returns of parts and components for a fleet of mining equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and inspect parts ordered for planned jobs and ensure all parts are on site before the job is scheduled.
Creating and maintaining a process for ordering and tracking replacement parts and component
Maintain core returns to ensure proper credit to eliminate lost revenue.
Create work orders for unplanned repairs with attention for minimal down time.
Create requisitions from work orders and direct ordering.
Work with planners and warehouse personnel to have parts kitted, and staged where appropriate for planned maintenance.
Work with mobile maintenance personnel to address needs and concerns for completing scheduled work.
Assist supervisors in creating additional work orders, as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience with mining equipment (surface), preferred.
Experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), as well as MS Office and SAP, required.
Must possess exceptional organizational skills, required.
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external partners both verbally and in writing, required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds, required.
Ability to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision, required.
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures, required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, required.
Must be able to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment, required.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk, required.
Ability to operate a shop forklift, required.
Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position, required.
