Position Overview
Reporting to the department General Supervisor, the Site Maintenance Parts Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Site Maintenance, Crushing, and E&I departments. This role focuses on parts coordination, record keeping, and documentation while assisting supervisors and site leadership with day-to-day administrative needs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean environment by ensuring that safety values are present in all aspects of work.
- Assist teams with parts coordination, moving and staging of parts using forklifts and trucks, parts kitting, and the organization of kitting areas and laydowns.
- Support inventory and parts-related record keeping, labeling, and tracking.
- Support supervisors and planners with administrative tasks related to maintenance, training, safety, and operations documentation.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Use basic computer systems and apps, overseeing, and performing data entry, scanning, filing, and document control.
- Help organize and track compliance-related paperwork and site records: pre-ops, safety related documents, equipment repairs, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Experience with or working on a mine site or similar environment, preferred
- Experience operating forklifts, preferred
- Experience and comfortable with data entry and using company software and application programs Microsoft Office, Abode, etc., required
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, required.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds, required
- Able to understand and communicate both orally and in writing, required
- Able to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently, required
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment, required
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk, required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, required
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position, required
